TCPS Education Foundation Joins the Global #GivingTuesday Movement!

#GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to kick off the Holiday Giving Season and inspire people to give back in meaningful ways to the causes they support. This year, on Tuesday November 28, we hope you will support the Talbot County Public Schools Education Foundation!

TCPS is blessed with an amazing team of talented educators, leaders and support staff who believe that every child has unlimited potential. They invest their time, talent and often their personal resources in order to deliver innovative learning opportunities for their students. They are invaluable, and a critical part of a school system that with community support could truly offer unlimited opportunities for our children.

Recently the Education Foundation Advisory Board conducted a survey of all TCPS staff to gather their input about how the foundation could help fund innovative projects that would have the most positive impact on student learning. The following are just a few their amazing ideas:

  • Gifted and Talented Robotics Projects
  • Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports and End of Year Awards
  • After School Art Club
  • Professional Conferences for Teachers
  • 3D Modeling Club
  • Authentic Hispanic Culture Experience
  • Film Production Studio

With your help, we will make some of these opportunities a reality during this school year! We hope you will consider making a gift to the TCPS Education Foundation on #GivingTuesday!
