EMS Drumline

Currently, we rotate the few drums we have between percussionists. This leaves a significant number of students marching without an instrument. Having additional instruments would allow more students to participate in community events. The program will provide percussionists enrichment of their band curriculum that will give them the skills to participate in local events such as parades and commemorative ceremonies. This will allow more students to be properly equipped and thereby gain greater musical proficiency and expertise on a variety of percussion instruments. Participating and performing in a drumline builds community and gives students a higher level of engagement.
