On Wednesday, March 11, student teams from Easton High and St. Michaels Middle High participated in the 22nd annual ACE Mentor Program Awards Presentation showcasing their incredible projects. The ACE Mentor Program helps students learn about career opportunities in architecture, construction management, and engineering, while also providing mentoring and scholarships for those interested in pursuing these careers. We are proud of our students for their hard work and dedication to these fields! A huge thank you to the mentors and supporters who help guide and inspire the next generation of industry leaders!



THE PROJECTS:



E-town Engineers – Indoor Sports Complex, Easton High School, with Ryder Cario, Hunter Colombo, Nicholas Deregowski, Emmett Ellis, Carter Fronk, Landon Hollingsworth, Zach Lister, Nicholas Lesher, Sterling Washington

The Easton High School E-town Engineers team designed an indoor and outdoor sports complex located in Easton, Maryland. The purpose of this facility is to provide a versatile space where athletes and community members can participate in a variety of sports and training activities throughout the year.



T-Shorts – Sports Complex, Easton High School, with David DiCristofaro, Adal Gaspar-Cruz, Chris Howie, KJ Howie, Alex Lister, Rebecca Martinez, Zachary Morris, Brady Rauch, Benjiman Rauch, Trenton Short, Braden Streaker

The Easton High School T-Shorts team proposed a multi-use sports complex located in Baltimore, Maryland. The inspiration behind this project came from the limited number of indoor sports complexes currently available in the state.



Archangel Tour Boat – St. Michael’s Middle High School, with Ryley Beers, Benjamin Chance, John Cornish, Ahmet Demir, James Hudson, Constadinos Mihalis, Ashlan Opheim, Philip Wieland

The St. Michael’s Middle/High School team developed the Archangel Tour Boat project to highlight and promote the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of Talbot and Dorchester counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
