As a reminder, per our Board-approved calendar, schools are closed from December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026, for Winter Break. We'll see everyone back on January 5!

Your voice matters! Our child nutrition department would like your feedback to help make your students' dining experience better.
Please click this link to take a short, 2-minute survey! If you have multiple students, please take one survey per student: https://qrflash.me/a/U5MUUF
Every piece of feedback you give helps us improve and better serve our students! (You may select your preferred language in the drop-down box on the first page of the survey.)
Thanks so much!!
The process to select the 2026–2027 TCPS Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year has begun!
Is there a teacher or member of the TCPS support staff who is truly outstanding, has made a significant impact on your family, and/or goes above and beyond in their commitment as a professional? The Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year programs are a fantastic way to recognize educators who exemplify excellence.
Any individual within the school system or any member of the community may nominate a candidate to apply to be Talbot’s Teacher of the Year or Support Staff of the Year. Nominations for both Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year are due by January 16, 2026. Click on the link below for details, eligibility information, and nomination forms.

Wishing our Chapel Families a wonderful last week before Winter Break! Enjoy the snow!

Students in grades K-5 have been hard at work preparing for our Winter Concert where they will be performing John Jacob’s musical “Star Bucks”. The CDES Winter Concert is TONIGHT, December 9th at 6:00pm at the Easton High School Auditorium. Students should report no earlier than 5:30pm when the doors open. Students should wear their holiday best.
When you arrive, please take your students’ belongings to your seats. Students should find their classroom teacher and will sit with them. Please encourage your child to use the bathroom before handing them off to their teacher. K-2 students and the “Star Bucks” cast will be starting on stage, grades 3-5 students will be sitting in the audience with their class until it is their time to perform.
At the end of the performance to ensure safety, 3-5 students will be dismissed in front of the stage to a parent (released by teacher), while K-2 will remain in their seats until a parent signs them up (please confirm with teacher).
Looking forward to this night of festive fun and a special thank you to Mrs. Mandy Leffler for all her hard work in getting our students ready!

For those parents who may not be familiar with our Penguin Patch, students shop for holiday gifts for family members. Penguin Patch teaches them about budgeting, problem solving, and independence. Teachers will send home an envelope with information about the day your child will be shopping. Most Penguin Patch items are inexpensive for children to shop. Parents may send money in the envelope provided on the day your child shops.
